World bosses every 90 minutes
On Northforge a world boss spawns every 90 minutes in the Frostfield Arena. Everyone online can join the fight, and every participant gets their own reward cache.
The rotation
Hrimfang, Alpha of the North
A giant frost beast.
Jarnvald the Frost Colossus
A towering colossus of ice.
Emberjarl of the Blackforge
A fire lord from the molten heart of the world forge.
Where and when
- Where: the Frostfield Arena, south of Northforge Village across the stone causeway from the south gate.
- When: every 90 minutes. Chat announces the boss 10, 3 and 1 minute before it spawns.
- Countdown: type
/worldbossor/wbin game to see the next boss and the timer.
How the fight works
World bosses use the same telegraphed mechanics as delve bosses: slam rings, eruptions and charges, adds and shield phases, and an enrage timer. Their health scales with the number of players, so a crowded fight stays a fight.
Loot for everyone
There is no last-hit stealing. Every participant gets their own reward cache at Heroic level: Epic or better, with real Legendary odds. Drops roll rarity, affixes and roll quality like all Northforge loot.
Between world bosses
- Run one of the six delves with your group.
- Join world events like Frost Siege, Caravan Defense and Blackforge Breach, or close a Rift for its cache.
- Vote for the server on the server lists for in-game tokens.
