Delves: instanced boss dungeons

Delves are private dungeon runs for you and your group, up to 5 players. Each one ends in a boss fight with real mechanics, and every drop rolls its own rarity, affixes and roll quality.

The four delves

How a delve run works

1. Enter through one of the four portal altars in the hub's Portal House, or type /delve.
2. Wave Chamber: survive three waves.
3. Trap Gauntlet: get through without losing your group.
4. Elite Chamber: a tougher fight that guards the way down.
5. Boss Arena: bosses telegraph slams, eruptions and charges. At 66% and 33% health they call adds and raise a shield, and an enrage timer punishes slow groups.

Normal, Heroic, Mythic

• Normal: open to everyone at the delve's level.
• Heroic: unlocked by a Normal clear. Your group may die at most 6 times.
• Mythic: unlocked by a Heroic clear. Only 3 deaths allowed.

Higher difficulties have better chests, and a flawless clear pays a bonus. A weekly modifier (Frenzy, Frostbite, Volatile or Twin Elites) changes every run, and the fastest groups land on the leaderboard (/delve top).

Loot and armor sets

Every drop rolls a rarity from Common to Mythic, random affixes such as Crit Chance, Lifesteal or Boss Damage, and a roll quality. Four armor sets with 4 pieces each give real 2, 3 and 4-piece bonuses plus a signature effect: Frostguard Regalia (Packhowl frost nova), Ironveil Bulwark (Oathbound shield), Broodweb Raiment (Silk Snare) and Regent's Broken Crown (Tithe of the Hall surge). Salvage what you don't need and upgrade the rest at the Forge.

Beyond delves

Out in the wilds, Rifts open as random wave events that end in a Rift Cache, and marked elite mobs drop loot. Looking for a group? Ask in Discord.
